Passing by looking for a place to eat. Walked in and an elderly lady, Shirley, greeted us by bluntly saying only, "breakfast is over. Sorry." She didn't say anything else like "serving lunch" or any other kind of utterance or gesture that indicated she wanted us there. Very odd. Didn't feel at all welcome. So drove a quarter mile down the road to Ma's Place where we were greeted with a pleasant smile and great food - including breakfast, though were just looking for food. So save the unfriendly atmosphere and go to Ma's Place. Great food and friendly people there.

Great diner experience! Loved the fact that it looked like the typical diner which you think of heading down south with inside and out. The breakfasts were awesome and the coffee was very tasty. The service is great and the servers were super friendly and funny. Thank y'all!!

Shirley does all the cooking!! If you have never eaten there you must pop in!Her meals are delicious no matter what you order! The prices are right too!Enjoy your visit...and the food!

Great place for locals & tourists alike...don't expect the Ritz, like some tourists do...expect friendly service, delicious home style food, & pleasant atmosphere...probably the best thing is that she's open year round & caters to locals...I'll support this restaurant as long as possible...

Horrible Service The Woman Who Knowns It Is rude And Doesnt Care About Anyone That Comes In Tells Big Groups To Leave Because She Doesnt Have The Time To Serve Them Also She Yells At Customers For Just Opening The Door I Should Also Add We Have Been There Several Times But No More Enough Is Enough On Top Of Horrible Service And Getting Yelled At The prices Have Gone Up Evrrytime We Have Gone In I Recommend If You Want Great Food And Service You Go To Dana's In Branson West Great Staff And Great Food Always

Shirley your the best.

The only reason I am giving this place a 1 is because the food is decent however the customer service is worse than horrible. The owner decides who she let's do call in orders and she decides which customers get to order what food. If she has othet customers in store she won't allow you to just order what you want cuz there won't be enough for new customers. She gets onto you if you share with your child instead of ordering them food.

Always wonderful food. Shirley made me the best burger and fries today. Excellent service and very friendly. Highly recommend any time of the year.

Great place for breakfast before we headed to Dogwood Canyon. Always fun to hear the friendly locals chat as can be quite entertaining.

The good was absolutely perfect!! It is all made from scratch and fresh. It isn't too expensive especially when you get the quality of food like you do here!

Inexpensive and quality eats. My first time there. Looked like a favorite to the locals too! Shirley actually works there. I wish they would get their pest control through Terminix so I could eat there more often!!! 🍔🍟🍔🍟

I will say the prices are good, but the service is horrible!!! My family and I went in and ordered 5 whole orders of biscuits and gravy and were told that we can only get 4 half orders as the order would “cause her to loose customers,” however we would be paying the same amount. We let that go and moved past it. The next time we came the 16 year old in our family had a question about the amount of biscuits we were aloud to get and could not get 1 word out because she was rudely interrupted SEVERAL TIMES, we came back about 2 weeks later and the 16 year old walked in and whilst the dinner was packed Shirley herself cussed out this child, with even younger children in the lobby! Shirley is rude, disrespectful, she is NOT honest, and she has no regard for other people or there children in this so claimed “family environment.”

If you love a patty melt, this is where you need to get one if you are in this area. I posted a picture of it. This is the only place that knows how to make a good one!Breakfast is also good here. I particularly enjoy the home fries, which are little cubed potatoes. You can also see that in one of my photographs that I've posted.I also love The Smokehouse Burger, which features a delicious hamburger, bacon, cheese, and barbecue sauce comma with crinkle cut fries on the side. Yum!

No kidding...You haven't had a tenderloin like this Anywhere! And I've been Everywhere....man.

Great Breakfast Food - Friendly Staff

read numerous review before heading here for breakfast. As we entered, we saw this sign. For the size of the meal, the prices were reasonable. The pancakes are plate size. My egg meal filled the plate. AND Shirley cooked our meals. Glad we stopped to try it out.

Shirley's closed for the holidays last Sunday. I was fortunate enough to sneak in before she closed. The food was awesome!
